Description:

LSC-CyFair Library is hosting its first annual Free Comic Book Day! We will be handing out limited copies of special edition comics prepared just for FCBD from major comics distributors. Comics will be for adults, children, and teens. See below for list of events for children, adults, and everyone in between! From tabletop games to retro console gaming, you'll have a blast. We will also be hosting a DIY comic contest WITH PRIZES! Cosplay highly encouraged!

Tabletop gaming in the Teen Room
DIY Comic Contest. Adult winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card, Teen winner will receive a $15 Amazon gift card, Tween and Junior winners will receive free comics/books.
- Junior Category: 10 years and under
- Tween Category: 11-12 years
- Teen Category: 13-17 years
- Adult: 18+ years
CyFair Adult Comic Book Club with Professor Amy Larsen
- Comic for discussion is Ms Marvel Volume 1: No Normal by G. Willow Wilson
- Copies will be provided both on-site and in advance at the Adult Reference desk
- Strictly Ages 18+
- Held in LRNC 131 from 2-3PM
Retro gaming consoles with dozens of SNES games- All ages
- Held upstairs in Room 215
X-Wing helmet craft with Librarian Leah Stark for kids ages 7-12
- Ticketed event with 2 sessions
  - Session 1 from 2PM-2:30PM
  - Session 2 from 2:30PM-3PM
- Held in the Kids Corner Storytime Room. Tickets handed out 1 hour prior to event start time
Sanrio and Pokemon pompom make n' take craft- All ages
- Held in LRNC 131
